A curse for stern tube seal systems.

Nets, fishing lines, and other types of ropes can be a real curse for stern tube seal systems. When entangled in the propeller of a vessel, these external objects might work their way into the AFT seal system and damage the lip seals. Resulting in seawater ingress into the system and even oil leakage.
