We consider stern tube seal (bonding) service as a multi-stage process:
Planning & Purchasing:
We keep close communication about the docking schedule. Based on records of previous services and the condition of the stern tube seals as reported by the customer, we give advice about the required service scope for the job. Upon ordering, we remain involved and coordinate with the superintendent about the attendance date and delivery of spares. We also send a preparation document allowing the superintendent to coordinate the preparations with the crew and shipyard. This helps us to carry out a swift and smooth job.
Our “made in Europe” stern tube seals and related spare parts are available from stock in Europe and China to facilitate fast deliveries. We also work with any spare parts supplied by the shipowner.
Stern tube seal overhaul/ bonding service/ repair service:
Depending on the situation, we carry out a service job in the shipyard or afloat. During the service job, we aim to relieve the superintendent and the chief engineer of their worries as much as possible.
Operation/ after sales:
We advise technical managers and chief engineers with regards to the functioning of their system. If necessary, we can advise on managing leaks, help analyze crisis situations, etc.
