We make sure that our service engineers are familiar with, and follow the ILO code of practice of Safety and health in shipbuilding and ship repair.
The use of proper PPE for their job is part of this code. Under normal conditions the engineers are not required to wear a face mask. But in these current, strange times with a virus spreading around the world, wearing a face mask while working in close proximity to other people might seem like a good idea!
And yes, our engineers are still servicing vessels of our customers!
